چکیده
Increase of plastics accumulation in the environment cause ecological threats and has been one serious issue worldwide. In current study, two bacterial isolated strains Bacillus safensis amyloliquefaciens were used for their plastic degradation capabilities. The biodegradation low density polyethylene thermoplastic was assessed by weight reduction, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis culture media pH alteration. results shows that more efficient degrade 18.6% LDPE than 18% after incubation period 30 days. Moreover, it also noted longer periods higher thermoplastic. It is concluded biodegrading ability as confirm from reduction

An approach to low-density polyethylene biodegradation by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is a major cause of persistent and long-term environmental pollution. In this paper, two bacterial isolates Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (BSM-1) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (BSM-2) were isolated from municipal solid soil and used for polymer degradation studies. The microbial degradation LDPE was analyzed by dry weight reduction of LDPE film, change in pH of cul...
متن کاملUnrelatedness of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and Bacillus subtilis.
Eight strains of highly amylolytic, sporeforming bacilli (hereafter referred to as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) were compared with respect to their taxonomic relationship to B. subtilis. The physiological-biochemical properties of these two groups of organisms showed that B. amyloliquefaciens differed from B. subtilis by their ability to grow in 10% NaCl, characteristic growth on potato plugs, i...

Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) despite being increasingly used as a method for microbial identification, still present limitations in which concerns the differentiation of closely related species. Bacillus pumillus and Bacillus safensis, are species of biotechnological and pharmaceutical significance, difficult to differentiate by con...
